Strictly Performance was founded by Richard Lelsz in 1997. As a child, Richard spent his days watching his father rebuild drag cars. It was during this time that Richard learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. When Richard graduated high school he decided to enter the Ford ASSET Training program, where he learned how to use computer based diagnostic tools to enhance his deep knowledge of automobile engines and performance. Although Richard was learning the most advanced techniques in auto repair, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his father all those years ago. His father used to race ,repair and restore cars for friends and neighbors; asking for little compensation in return. Richard never forgot the gratitude of those his father helped. He never forgot the warm feeling he felt every time his father would envite him and his friends to the races to help with the cars they were to race in those days. Richard was determined to open a racing and performance business that would truly offer value to the racing community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew.
Richard opened Strictly Performance in 1997 in a small two car shop in Houston Texas. Word of great deals and outstanding performance service quickly spread throughout the region. Strictly Performance soon ran out of room for its growing customer base and had to find a larger facility that would allow it to continue growing. Now located in Pearland Texas Strictly Performance has the tools and equipment and chassis dyno service to build and race winning performance cars. With numerous world championships, National Records and race winning performance.You will have no doubt that Strictly Performance can also get you into the winners circle!
